Goalkeeper Petr Cech Reveals Favourite Save of His Career

Arsenal and former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed that his favourite save ever is that of his 2012 Champions League penalty save against Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben.

The veteran goalkeeper was this week awarded with the Guinness World Record for the most Premier League clean-sheets of any goalkeeper to grace the English top-flight, 181 from 373 total starts in the Premier League.
It was while accepting this honour that he revealed in a interview with Guinness World Records his save that the 34-year-old is "most proud" of.

The Czech Republic keeper said: "Obviously if you face a penalty in the Champions League final, in extra time, you know if you concede then it’s all over"
Despite his popularity at Arsenal, the 6ft 5 giant couldn't over look his glory days with Chelsea when it came to picking his personal favourite save over his long career.

"You know your dream to win the Champions League is all gone, I have to take this penalty save.

"It’s one of those saves you will always remember."
